Since i lowered my 2nd gen gs, my upper control arms are hitting the shock tower. Currently have about an inch clearence. What can i do apart from raising my car. Any feedback appreciated, thanks!

Nrmally I have seen people cut holes in the engine bay to have clearance

problem is, wouldnt the control arm still be pointed up and not flat like they should stock, im surprised your gs doesnt have this issue, could be that im only on 17's and the coils are almost maxed out.
