I have a 5th gen civic with starting problems. Got it down to a bad spot on the flywheel.
I wanna learn how to change it out so in the future I can work on it myself.
Got all the parts but I'm lacking a cherry picker or an engine compartment cross bar....
anyone down to show me how to take this beast apart? haha

Hmm its actually pretty easy to remove the fly wheel..

Hardest part is 32mm to the axles. break it off.
Pull everything you see off getting in the way of the tranny so slave/cable starter, intake etc.

it is 6 bolts from the tranny to the block..

tranny should slide....and the clutch should be visible 6 bolts off.

Second hardest part is the Flywheel bolts... jam a screw driver into a crack and into one of the teeth and loosen. theres a few methods but that is about it...

if you are local to ff pm me and I'll help you.  If you have a truck I got a crane to if you want but you won't need it.
